Meet our lovely team members at Kingston Nursing Home in Leeds
Kingston Home Manager
My name is Tracey Robinson and I am the Manager of Kingston Nursing Home.
I have worked in the care industry for over 40 years, originally working in forensics, acute mental health and young offenders.
Working with Bupa for 20 years I was initially a registered health nurse before developing my skills to become a home manager. Throughout this time, I gained a wealth of experience working in all areas.
I have managed two large multi-sites with over 180 beds, and have also had regional oversight of 26 homes. I have worked mainly in homes that needed improvement or were rated inadequate and have a good track record of turning them round.
My passion and specialty are Dementia care and I obtained my degree in dementia through Bradford University. I have delivered many seminars on the subject and am also a Bradford First Coach at Bradford University.
I am well known by the governing bodies and local authorities in the area.
I chose Kingston Nursing Home to come and manage because although it is a small home to me, it has such potential and a very caring team. It just needed someone to lead the team in a person-centred way. I believe if you support and nurture your staff they will strive to the highest standards and look after the residents. I am a very open and honest manager.
I care about people; not only the residents and their relatives but also the staff. Every one matters.
